Una comunicaci\u00f3n efectiva entre padres e hijos es vital para construir relaciones s\u00f3lidas y saludables, ya que facilita la comprensi\u00f3n mutua, fortalece el v\u00ednculo emocional y fomenta la confianza. Adem\u00e1s, permite a los padres comprender las necesidades, preocupaciones y deseos de sus hijos, promoviendo as\u00ed un ambiente de apoyo y seguridad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una comunicaci\u00f3n abierta y honesta facilita la resoluci\u00f3n de conflictos y el establecimiento de l\u00edmites claros ya que, cuando los ni\u00f1os se sienten escuchados y comprendidos, muestran una actitud m\u00e1s proclive a compartir sus experiencias y buscar orientaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n

Con frecuencia nos encontramos ante el problema<\/strong> de que nuestro hijo apenas se comunica con nosotros<\/strong>, a pesar de que intentamos por todos los medios cambiar esta situaci\u00f3n. Quiz\u00e1s, sin darnos cuenta, estamos llevando a cabo alguna conducta comunicativa que produce el efecto contrario, es decir, que nuestro hijo se cierre ante nosotros de una forma cada vez m\u00e1s firme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por ello, a continuaci\u00f3n se har\u00e1 referencia a una serie de aspectos que conviene evitar si deseamos mejorar la comunicaci\u00f3n con nuestros hijos (especialmente si es adolescente):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Amenazar:<\/strong> anunciar sanciones y castigos, oblig\u00e1ndolo a hacer algo bajo la amenaza del castigo. Se trata de algo muy diferente de hacer ver las consecuencias que puede tener una determinada actuaci\u00f3n. Un ejemplo de amenaza es \u201cvuelve a tocar a tu hermano y te dar\u00e9 un tortazo\u201d<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sermonear:<\/strong> se\u00f1alar lo que es bueno o malo desde nuestro punto de vista sin tener en cuenta para nada su opini\u00f3n: \u201c\u00bfTe parece bonito lo que has hecho?, \u00bfquitarme los aramelos de la mano?.Veo que no has comprendido la importancia de tener buenos modales. Intento ense\u00f1arte que, si quieres que sean educados contigo, debes serlo t\u00fa primero con ellos\u201d<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dar lecciones<\/strong>: hablarle como un experto superior a \u00e9l, ya que tenemos mucha m\u00e1s experiencia y sabemos y conocemos muy bien las ense\u00f1anzas de la vida: \u201cAs\u00ed que seis suspensos, \u00bfeh?. Ya te har\u00e1s mayor y te arrepentir\u00e1s de no haber estudiado. Hazme caso, que soy tu padre y s\u00e9 lo que es arrepentirse cuando ya no hay remedio\u201d.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Aconsejar:<\/strong> insistir en lo que es mejor para \u00e9l y, al igual que cuando sermoneamos, sin tener en cuenta su opini\u00f3n. Sabemos lo que le conviene y se lo planteamos sin m\u00e1s: \u201cT\u00fa lo que tienes que hacer es olvidarte de esos amigos con los que vas, que no hacen m\u00e1s que distraerte. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no vas con Luis, que es tan buen chico?. \u00c9l s\u00ed que te echar\u00eda una mano en los estudios\u201d.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Interrogar :<\/strong> sacarle informaci\u00f3n como si fuera un sospechoso, acosarlo continuamente con preguntas y ejerciendo presi\u00f3n: \u201c\u00bfQu\u00e9 has hecho?, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 te ha castigado el profesor?, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 no le dijiste que no a tu compa\u00f1ero?, \u00bfhasta cu\u00e1ndo vas a seguir as\u00ed?\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Si evitamos este tipo de conductas a la hora de comunicarnos con nuestros hijos y mantenemos una actitud abierta hacia lo que nos cuenta, sin interrumpir ni criticar o juzgar antes de tiempo, ni dando soluciones o consejos que no nos han pedido, con el paso del tiempo se mostrar\u00e1n mucho m\u00e1s comunicativos, ya que se sentir\u00e1n m\u00e1s c\u00f3modos hablando con nosotros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
